Practice Committee: Contract Insurability Negotiation Guide

The MAA wishes to express its appreciation to Derek Johnson from Oldfield Kirby Esau Inc. for providing a copy of the "Contract Insurability Negotiation Guide", prepared by the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN) in the USA, and securing the necessary permissions that have enabled the MAA to post this resource for members on the MAA's website.
As noted in the guide, while the purpose is to assist design professionals both identify uninsurable contract clauses and provide some talking points to help negotiation more insurable agreements with clients, the information is offered for educational and discussion purposes only and does not represent legal advice.
